Apple releases Mac OS X 10.5.2, Security Update 2008-001

Apple today released a significant update to Mac OS X 10.5 "Leopard". Mac OS X 10.5.2 delivers a ton of improvements to dozens of components in the operating system, including Mail, Safari, Time Machine, Finder, iCal and iChat. In addition to Mac OS X 10.5.2, Apple also released the first security update of 2008, Security Update 2008-001 for Mac OS X 10.4, containing bug fixes that address highly critical vulnerabilities in applications and components of the OS.
