WWDC '09: new MacBook Pros, iPhone OS 3.0 & iPhone 3GS

During today's keynote address to the developers at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference, Phil Schiller announced a full overhaul of the company's laptop offerings, improving performance and features with reduced prices. Also announced was the final timeline for Mac OS X 10.6 "Snow Leopard" - the software will be available in September, and will be priced at $29 for current "Leopard" users, and a "Snow Leopard" Family Pack at $49 for home users with multiple Macs. Mac OS X 10.6 "Snow Leopard" will be available for all Mac systems powered by the Intel processor.

Slated for June 17th release is the iPhone OS 3.0 update - an update packed with improvements for the iPhone and iPod touch. Also introduced, the new iPhone 3GS - available June 19th. The new phone has a ton of new features, including improved battery life and a camera capable of video.
